Entry II · Open-world action RPG
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
A young outcast hunts robot creatures in a wild, overgrown future and uncovers how the old world ended.
1 In short
What you do. Track and take apart giant machine animals with bow, traps and tactics, then follow a mystery across forests, deserts and snow.
Who it suits. Players who like tactical combat and a strong mystery. Good entry point to big open worlds.
2 Entering the world
Aloy grows up as an outcast; the prologue is short and touching, then the wild opens with grazing machines on the plains.
3 Living there
Fights are about scanning a machine, shooting off parts and laying traps. The mystery of the old world is genuinely gripping.
4 Where to stop
Campfires are the save points. One main quest per evening is a good rhythm.
In its favour
- Thrilling machine hunts
- Gripping mystery
- Expansion included
Against it
- Climbing is limited
- Some side quests are thin
